2K Games announced today an aggressive post-launch downloadable content plan for BioShock®2 that extends and enhances the single and multiplayer experiences by adding more glimpses into the award-winning world of Rapture. Downloadable content will be made available soon, beginning with the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack, available this March from the Xbox® LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Games for Windows–LIVE for 400 Microsoft Points and from the PlayStation®Network for £3.19. Future expansions into the world of BioShock 2 are slated to arrive over the coming months and will continue to expand on the stories of the denizens of Rapture.

Flying Fish Works officially presents abstracts from the developer’s diary to their upcoming product “Hellion: Mystery of the Inquisition”. Talking about the vision and their motives to create Hellion the developers allow a deeper look behind the scenery. “Hellion: Mystery of the inquisition” is in development for XBOX360, PS3 and PC.

“Hellion: Mystery of the inquisition” is an extraordinary First-Person-Action-Game set in the 13th century. As an armed man of the newborn Inquisition, the player will battle heretics, execute exorcisms, face demons and unintentionally become part of a political and religious intrigue. It is an epic journey through different medieval cultures full of real-life characters, wild animals, rough warriors, powerful Templar knights, deadly assassins and, ultimately, horrifying demons.

The gritty soundtrack to the brutal iPhone shooter Annihilation Undead, has been released as a free download for any fans of the game, as well as any fans of good music.

It is comprised of several tracks by renowned rock band Battle Circus, as well as dark electronic songs by underground industrial act Neurotyk. It can be obtained by visiting the developer's blog.

Welsh independent adventure developer Arberth Studios has laid out its plans for delivering its second title ‘Coven’ in Quarter 4 of 2010.

Arberth’s spokesman Noel Bruton comments, “There are three essential dates in the schedule. The first is the beginning of the second quarter, when the gameplay demo will go to prospective publishers as their opportunity to take part in the project. The second is the Gold Master target date - we have 20thSeptember in mind. The third is the release – and for that we’re aiming to achieve the end of October 2010.”

Compiling this list was a difficult task as there have been many fantastic horror video game boxes.

Many games from this list were taken out and then added back on numerous times. In fact, if I were to compile this list again at another time I am sure that it would not be the same.

From the makers of the Penumbra series comes a brand new survival horror game, Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Today we are happy to announce the release of the game's web site and a first look at actual in-game footage, in the form of a horrifying teaser.

Zombie fans that like their undead experiences serialized can now pick up the highly acclaimed Resident Evil 4 for iPhone and iPhone Touch as smaller more digestible bite sized bits. Dubbed Resident Evil 4: For Beginners, the game contains the first two chapters of Resident Evil 4 for iPhone as well as a new tutorial level. Additionally, the game offers a new “Beginner” difficulty setting, one new “shooting gallery” mini game and three mercenary missions. Players will be able to download the remaining Resident Evil 4 chapters as DLC if they wish to continue the journey. Customers that have already purchase the full game will receive the added features in a free update.

Premier videogame publisher Iceberg Interactive and French distributor Mohican, part of Anuman, announce that they have signed a distribution agreement for the release of several PC games into France during the first half of 2010.

Amongst the Iceberg games that Mohican will bring to France are fully localized versions of Adam’s Venture: The Search for the Lost garden. Dark Fall: Lost Souls and Darkness Within 2: The Dark Lineage.
